In this chapter, Oswald and his nephew, Oswald Jr., are playing cards. Oswald asks his nephew why he has a silver coin in his hand, and Oswald replies that he has it because he gambled it all away. Oswald tells his nephew that he is the one who put Oswald up to this fight, and that he should give back what he took from Oswald. Oswald says that he still beat Oswald in the fight, even though Oswald is drunk. Oswald then points out that the goods in Oswald's shop are all the same, despite the fact that they are different from the goods that Oswald bought at the pawnbroker's. Oswald thinks that this is because all the goods are sold on special orders, not on a regular basis.
