All his magic has vanished, and now he must complete the "coffin of eternal darkness" ritual for good. He tells everyone to go home and wait for him. He's sure they'll all feel better. He says he'll figure out what's wrong before it's too late. He wants to know why Nemo won't swallow the vial of poison. Nemo's heart beat stops, and he's dead. Nemo is so upset that he offers his life to him, but Nemo refuses to give it to him. Nemo tells everyone that they're all all saved, and that they need to guard the town for them. Nemo wants to go back to fight Ironside, but he knows that's impossible. He asks everyone to come up with a plan. He doesn't want to kill Ironside if he does go back. He just wants to make sure that Nemo is dead before he goes back. Nemo says he knows he killed Nemo for good one more time, and asks if Nemo will be able to get out of his way now that he can't kill him again. Nemo admits that he hasn't repaid any of his favor to Nemo, and says he never apologized either. He also says that Nemo was a "wonderful kid" who risked his body to save Ordo, and who saved his heart before solitude broke it. Nemo asks why Nemo came back, and Nemo says that he came back because he needed to finish off Ironside. He explains that all of them believed in him, and they gave him power.
