In this short scene, we learn that the four knights are not going to fight each other. Instead, they're going to run away and die together. This is the first time that we've seen the four of them together, and they all agree that they don't want to face each other in combat. They're also not sure how to react to the news that their father has been killed, and that the guy who killed their grandfather has also been killed. The four knights decide that they'll run away to save the people of their home town, which is why they've come to defend it. But then they realize that they can't run away because their father and grandfather are dead, and their grandfather would never have let them run away. They decide to kill their father first, and then kill their grandfather. Then they decide to smash a coffin of eternal darkness into the coffin of the dead man, and smash the coffin with the body of their father. They also decide to fight sistana with their father, because that's what they all want to do.
