In this short scene, we learn that Friar Trelawney, the fourth Knight of the Apocalypse, is looking for a young man named gawain, whom he believes to be the fourth of the Knights Templar. Briefly, we are introduced to the young man, who we learn is the son of the famous knight apprentice , the late Illustrious Knight , and the grandson of the legendary knight, Knight Frederick. The young man explains that he is a "holy knight" in training, and that he has just discovered the power of auras, which can summon a person's past. He explains that his name is Tantal, which means "son of hansen," and that his father was a famous knight. He tells us that he found this aura on the street when he was on a walk, and he is now the fourth knight in the line of the Templars. He asks if the man is from the nation that he serves, and if so, where he comes from, and then he asks if he knows the man. The man answers that he does, but he does not know the man's name. He says that if he beats the man in battle, he will become his apprentice.
