In this chapter, we are introduced to four of the apocalypse's most famous knights, the four horsemen of prophecy. They are, in fact, Arthur's sons, and they have come to rescue Arthur from his enemies, the Pandapas. The Pandapas, in turn, are trying to escape, but they are captured by Arthur and his men. Arthur asks his son-in-law to help him escape, and the two of them agree to do so. Arthur then tells his son to take Percival with him on the ride back to the castle.
