Now that he's done with the "seven deadly sins" , Virgil is ready to go back to the battle. He's got a bunch of tricks up his sleeve. First, he wants to get the crystal back so he can use it to track down Dolcho Monte and his gang. Virgil says that the villagers are "gentle and shy" away from battle, but they're still from the tribe that "dragged humanity into continuous bloody warfare" . So, Virgil says, it's not like he hates all men. It's just that he doesn't want to be killed by a man like his dad. So they've got to get to the grotto ASAP. Virgil wants to make sure that they don't run into Don Pedro, the knight of the Apocalypse . He says that Don Pedro is a "real military amateur" to "iron side," and he'd rather die than fight Don Pedro. Virgil's a little worried that they'll get lost in the maze, but he says that if they didn't go into it, they'd lose the crystal.
