Nemo was a smart kid, and Ordo loved him like a son. One day, Nemo suddenly disappeared into the gorge, and Nemo's plants and animals became lethargic and violent. Nemo explains that this is because Ordo was sick of him, and that's why he left the gorge with Nemo. Nemo tells us that Nemo was trying to make a drug that would save the entire gorge, but it's not going to happen, because there's no way that Nemo can make the potion. He's the only one who knows how to mix venom, which is the key to healing the sick or the wounded.
