In this short scene, the mad scientist explains that he's so lonely that he can't find his beloved anna. He tells her that she's been a disappointment lately, and he'll punish her for it if she doesn't give him anna back. The mad scientist uses pointed dwarves to manipulate corpses, and a demon spider to manipulate a corpse. He's going to take a leave of absence, though, because he has more pressing concerns. He makes a prophecy reading and draws a useless card with the words "treasure hunter" and "grim reaper" on it. The card predicts that a force will emerge that will alter the course of the kingdom's destiny.
