In this chapter, the monster explains how he came to be bitten by the boss at the casino. The boss was disabled by the monster, but the monster survived. The monster says that if the owner of the casino does not want him, he should not have to live this way. He says that the property will soon vanish, and that he will ease the suffering of the others. He warns them not to get bitten, as the body has been infected with the new type of human immunodeficiency virus, or H1N1 . He tells them that if they get bitten by it, they will become a "cannibal" and that the apocalypse is upon them. He also tells them to stay calm and not to worry about getting bitten. He advises them to lead their way to their sister, who is cultivating at home in seclusion. She should not be at any risk of getting infected, because she has the ability to use the fourth stage of the human immune system. He asks the goddess of justice to connect him to the president, and he says that he has identified a situation that requires the president's immediate attention. He explains that the threat is not related to the Nine Prefectures, but to two new types of human viruses that have appeared. The first type is called the "Cannibal Syndrome", and the second is called "The Second Type of Virus", because it does not "mutate or evolve" and it spreads through air.
