About This Chapter
The monk tells the master that the monk is no longer able to serve as a general. The monk will have to go back to the army as a soldier, and the monk will be punished severely for slandering a disciple of the sky lord. The master asks the monk if he thinks what he did was right. the monk replies that if the master really cared about his junior, then he should have taught him the right principles when he was still alive. He says that the master killed his junior during the exam, and that if he really cared, then the master should have kept the principles in him. He then goes on to explain how they won the battle, and how they owe their success to one person. He explains that he only found out after the battle that the spirit beasts had betrayed the demons, and this person came up with their strategy. The results are clear, and many of the beasts have been killed or wounded. Only a few remain, and in the future they will not be able to fight against the humans. the master says that he owes the monk his life this time. He also announces that all spirit beasts have to swear an oath of soul before they can use humans. Everyone is to rest in three days, and then they will attack the heavenly realm.
