The monk tells the mage that he must kill the monk first. The mage says that he will help the monk, but that they must not rush him. The monk says that without his longevity locket, the monk would have never known how to fight off the maras. He says that his real body cannot come to the battle, because his spiritual powers are not enough to open up the gates of the demon realm. He asks the monk if he has given up yet, and the monk replies that he does not. They might not even capture the monk in the demon world, he says, but they might not be able to keep him alive if they reject him.
