He tells the cat that the chick is not his dream lover, but rather someone who caught his eye. He suggests that he speak to the daughter of the president of the prefecture and leave an impression on her father. He then tells the story of how he killed a plague ghoul and how the goddess of justice has provided him with medical resources. He says that he is very pleased with his current life and is very open to the feili as his new partner. He also introduces the protagonist to the inventor of the space-leap technology, Lao-Hang, who has been working on the technology for thirty years. He explains that after the ghoul's appearance, the monsters entered the world through rain. This is the shortest doomsday rain the protagonist has ever seen. He exclaims that he cannot stop the vicious thing that is coming.
