In this short scene, Ren tells the audience that he has just returned from killing the Cardinal of the Sacred Church. He explains that the Cardinal is in love with a beautiful woman and has locked her away for five years. The Cardinal will offer her a blood sacrifice as an expression of his devotion to her. He is the only person who escaped this ordeal. Ren tells us that the heir to the throne will go to a secret mountain range and follow eight patriarchs there. The location is guarded and everyone who tries to approach will be killed, and Ren uses a small space jump tracker to get there. A figure appears on Ren's control screen and Ren loses connection to his screen. He had to fake his own death and flee to outer space to escape. Ren says that the two men have come to die because of the same secret. He tells them to run or he will kill them.
