In this chapter, we learn that the purple robed man, who has just returned from the underworld, is a cultivator of soul power. He is able to increase his cultivation by using his soul power to summon his own sword, which he calls "the karma sword." This is a very powerful sword, and it is capable of inflicting great damage on the enemy. The master of the karma sword tells us that he has only one more sword to use, and that he will use it to destroy the purple-robed man.
