In the midst of the battle, Gu Qingshan asks the Buddha why he is keeping him. The Buddha tells him that the spirit beasts have reported that Gu killed innocently, and that the battle is about to break out. Gu asks why the other masters aren't siding with him, and the Buddha explains that he's the one speaking for himself. He orders everyone to put their weapons and belongings on the ground, and then he'll use his buddhist powers to identify the traitor. He says that once they find out who the traitor is, they'll head to mystic clouds and engage in the last battle. The generals come in first, followed by the others, and they all line up according to their rank. They're all dazed and confused, but the Buddha's magic tells them that they're not traitors. Amitabha says that he hopes the Buddha blesses the human race and that their victory or defeat is at hand.
