About This Chapter
It's been a while since we've heard from the narrator, but he's feeling pretty good about himself. He's happy to be back at work, and he feels a little bit better about himself, too. He goes over to the Itaewon team to check on the progress of the gallery project, and they're doing fine. He notices that the girl is acting like she's avoiding manager chun, which is obviously a bad sign. He asks the girl if she'd like to join him for a drink, and she says she'll do just that. He tells her to stop acting like he knows everything, and then he asks her why she hasn't been telling him anything. She tells him that she doesn't want to tell him anything, and that she just wants to go home and eat. She then asks him if he'll tell her anything if he tells her anything. He says he won't tell her what he thinks, but that he wants to hear what she has to say. He wants to know if she talked to him, and if she didn't talk to him because she was scared, or if she just said whatever she wanted to say to him. He then asks her if she had a date with chun the last time they were together, and when she says no, he says he was just jealous that she had no date. Then he asks if she is dating Juliet, and the girl says yes, and asks if there's anything wrong with him and Miss Song dating. The narrator is confused, and wonders if Miss Song has anything to do with the whole thing. He also asks if the director has been dating Juliet. The director says he'd never heard of it, but then the narrator asks if he has been with Miss Song, too, but the director says that's not the case, since the two of them
