This chapter opens with a conversation between Hiroshi and Sora. Hiroshi asks Sora if she has a watch. Sora replies that she does not need one. She tells him that the girl is drinking hot chocolate. She asks him if he has a regular opinion on the new lunch item. He replies that he does, and she gives him a watch as a thank-you. He tells her that the young man who used to work at the diner used to come there often, but he has left recently. He asks her if she thinks that he would get tired of eating at the restaurant. She replies that people do not get tired easily, and that food is good if it is good food. She says that she has not been to the restaurant in a while, but that she would like to go again. She gives him the watch, and he thanks her for making him so happy. He says that he will not give the watch to anyone, and so she breaks her watch, saying that she will see him back later. She then asks him to tell her if there is something wrong in the business, and if he is acting weird lately. He responds that he is, and says that it is annoying that she meddles in his business
