About This Chapter
In this chapter, the author tells us that she's been working on a splash page for a magazine. She's trying to draw a picture that's cheerful and summer-like. She wants to make sure that the three characters are all in the same mood. First off, she wants to know what's going on with sensei and lgio, since they're both sick. She tells them to come back to Hokkaido if sensei gets better. She also tells them that they can all work together to make her favorite cream puffs. She says that she hasn't found the flan prince yet, but she'll find him soon. The three of them will make sensei the cream puffs she loves so much. They'll also work together on making her favorite banana-shaped flan. The author then tells us about how she found her, and how she wanted to hear what she had to say. She wanted to know that she was lonely, and that her mom and dad were gone, too. The only thing she could say was that when she ate something good, it made her smile. The whole world seemed to be dark, and she wanted something good to make people smile.
