The old woman is furious that the prince is treating her granddaughter like a "brat" . She tells the prince to go to the court and tell the fangs that the king is mad. The prince tells the old woman that he has nothing to pay her back but himself. He tells her to go back to the mansion to recover the money that she paid to the old man.
