Dr. Barlow and the other members of the group discuss why the group hasn't been able to find any new followers. They're worried that the new messenger is going to try to recruit new followers, but Barlow assures them that he's just a guy who keeps making miraculous things happen. The new messenger comes in and says that the divine tree has been burned and that it's no longer possible to make the potion. The divine appears and makes the messenger a new messenger. The messenger swears that the potion is the divine's, and that he will spend his life serving the god. The guy swears he'll kill the messenger if he tries to tell the truth. The group is shocked that the messenger has lied to them, but they're not going to kill him anyway.
