This chapter opens with a young boy, xiang jin, begging his father to give him back his stolen bag. He tells his father that the thief is the son of a "rascal" from the "Yang family" . . The boy asks his father why he is doing this, and his father tells him that he has to stop the thief from stealing his bag. If the boy attacks the thief, the villagers will look at him, and he will have to admit his crimes. He then tells his mother that he took the video of the thief confessing his crimes, and that if he gets injured in the fight, his mother will take the video and show it to the villagers. The young boy then asks his mother if she has ever seen a man riding a bike on the street, and her answer is that she has.
