Madame Bovary asks what the results of the divination were. She tells him that he might run into danger. He tells her to get herself psyched up for a disaster. She asks him to read her fortunes. He reads that a pope card indicates that he is going to receive help from someone. He has lost a lot of blood. He asks if anyone knows how to help him. He says he is a doctor and that he can use the thunder- summoning spell to make a "rough aed" . He uses the silver needles to stop bleeding and tells him to thank him so much for his help. He then tells her that he will be fine soon. She says that he looks like a doctor of the tcm. She then asks him where shuang is. He replies that she has gone again. She mentions that he was in the limelight before, and she even mentions that she is gone. He wonders why there are so many people in the world who have more years than they are supposed to live. He finds a notebook with the names of all the people who have died in the last thirty years. He also finds out that someone has changed their fate and advanced the date of their death. He thinks only those from the Netherworld can know the source of the case.
