In this chapter, we learn that Dr. Manette is a member of the elite martial arts team, which means that he's got a lot of power. He's also got a bunch of scars on his back, so he needs to be super-strong. He also needs to get his foot in the door ASAP, otherwise he'll be in big trouble. The doctor is all, "Fine, I'll show you around" , and then he runs off to find his younger sister, who's been having a terrible time with her head injury. He doesn't know why she's having such a hard time, but he does know that his sister is being treated in a hospital in her hometown, and that's why he brought her to the hospital in the first place. He tells her that he can treat brain injuries with his acupuncture skill, but that he has to figure out the cause of the injury before he can do anything about it.
