In this scene, the doctor tells the audience that he has just returned from a trip to the "new world" and that he is drenched in the rain. He is surprised to find that there is a wealth of medicinal plants in the new world. He tells them to eat some of the herbs, which have a healing effect. The doctor tells them that the wound in his leg is closing up and that the baby is giving birth. He says that he can help the baby regain its strength by using his own blood. He asks the baby if it would like to drink some of his blood. The baby roars, and the doctor says that if the baby does not want to die, he should not stay put. He then tells the doctor to take the baby back to the village and prove to the villagers that they have captured the King of the Insects.
