The witch explains that the only way to get rid of the poison is to take it out of the body. The only way she can do this is to make the poison "refined" inside her body. When she hears the thudding sound of the bug's footsteps, she realizes that it is the bug. She tells him to knock on the door, and he does so. He tells her that the bug knocked Aofei out of his sleep, and that he wants to see if the bug can protect him. The witch tells him that the clan leader knows about the bug and wants them to go back and explain the incident to her. She also tells them that the doctor is coming up, and she needs their strength. The two of them decide to go, and the witch asks if they are going back with her or not.
