In this chapter, we learn that many of the school's students have unfollowed Caixin, and that Caixin's friend, the "apparent apricot sweetie," has also joined the ranks of the "unfollowers." Caixin is upset that his friends have been so cruel to him, and he decides to take a few days off from school to recover. He tells us that he created the "virtual figure apricot sweetie" as a way of avoiding the whole situation. He explains that he's worried that if Caixin goes back to school, he'll be disliked by his friends and that he won't be able to play basketball for the school team.
