Gopher is excited that his gift is inferior to the teacher's, but he is not sure how to respond when she asks him to give her the notebook. He gives it to her and says that he does not believe her gift is equal to hers. He then shows her the key chain that she gave him, which he says is the same as the one that he gave her.
