Cang and Ching-Li talk about how they're going to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. Cang says he's going to hang a Christmas stocking by his bed and give presents to the kids who are going to be traveling all over the world on Christmas Eve. He says he hasn't gotten any presents yet, but he'll try to find one. He's got all his Christmas stockings in the room, and he doesn't want to be left out. He wants to know if there's a Santa Claus out there, but can't figure out how to get him to open the door to his room. He also wants to be able to express his feelings to Ching-Ling, who's been avoiding him since the beginning of his college career. He tries to be brave, but his hands hurt. He calls the police, but they won't let him in. He blames himself for everything. He hung a stocking on the locked door, and when the police found him, they told him that the other guy had broken in by breaking in the lock. He apologizes profusely, and thanks everyone for their kindness.
