In this chapter, we learn that the students are starting an exchange period in which they will study together for a week. The two students discuss the fact that they were in a hurry the day before and did not have much time for a good chat. Cang-shu asks if she always likes tea, and the two students agree that she likes it. They also discuss how sorry they are that Cai-lin has not come to see them. Cai-Lin is so stern that she does not want to see the two of them, so they decide to have a break. They are interrupted by the arrival of the teacher, who wants to meet them right away. The students apologize to each other for their rudeness, and Cai-Liang tells them that he is not looking well. He tries to keep up with the teacher's topics with all his efforts
