Inside the net, the sky grows darker and the sound of drums fills the air. The two men search for the shrine of the dead crafter, but they cannot find it. They decide to destroy the island and leave the dead man in the hands of the gods. Mikagami says that the gods have sinned by allowing this to happen. He tells the two men that he has kept them alive by giving them food and shelter. He says that they are almost at their station post and that they will not have time to throw away all of their possessions. They are about to leave when they see Amaterasu waiting for them.
