This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which Hiroshi and the others are discussing their plans for the day. Hiroshi tells the others that he is going to fix the roof of the school, and he warns them not to make fun of him. He also tells them that he has forbidden them to use their phones during class, because it is against the school's rules. He then tells them about the crosshairs that they get when they are dressed as chki. He says that he will never use it again, because he does not know how to use it correctly. He tells them to look for their uncle, who is in the country with his mother. He asks the others if they are from around here, and they tell him that they have come from the country to find him. They then tell him about the tunnel that they are in, and Hiroshi says that if he goes too far into it, he will not be able to escape. The tunnel is a stupid one, he says, because if he tries to go too far in it, it will crumble and he will be unable to get out. The next thing he knows is that yaboku has gotten out of Yomi with a "soul summoning," but he is not a god, so he won't escape. So he is living in hiding, and now that he sees the boy, he realizes that he did not expect to see him.
