When the group returns to the house, Hiroyuki tells his father that Bishamon is not with him. Hiroyuki asks if he thinks something has happened to him, and Hiroyuki replies that he doesn't think so. He tells Hiroyuki that he was just a little bummed because he didn't feel his hair was growing long enough to make him like him. He also tells him that he's ugly, and that his wife is naked. He asks his father why he always shows up out of nowhere, and his father replies that it's easier in the days of yore. He says that he has called the group to find a shinki that has been defiled. When Hiroyuki says that this is a bad idea, he says that the fate of the shinki is cruel, but he also says that after he gave him that token of their acquaintance, he gave Hiroyuki the right to kill him.
