About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to Bishamonten, the master of the Shinkan army. He has been in charge of the army since the fall of the U.S., and he has been responsible for the deaths of many soldiers. He is also responsible for many of the suicides that have taken place during this time period. He laments the fact that he has not been able to control the army, which is under the control of the gods. He also laments that the gods have allowed themselves to be corrupted by the forces of nature, and that they have been unable to protect themselves against the attack of the enemy. He asks the gods to protect him, but they refuse to listen to him.
