About This Chapter
In this chapter, we find out that Bishamon is still alive, and that he and the others have destroyed the watch tower. The two men discuss what will happen now that they've destroyed the tower, and they decide to join the search for the three treasures. They're going to look for the scent of Bisha, and then they'll find out what's going on between the two vessels. They can't believe that the two of them plotted together, and who could possibly manipulate the heavens? The crafter has already killed ayakashi and buried him, and he hopes to cull the human race to oblivion. He's done that already, and the heavens are still unshaken. The men are shocked at the idea that a mortal law could be superior to the gods' laws. They don't know what to make of this idea that the gods are superior to humans. They think that the humans are too afraid to show their true selves, and so they're just too scared to reveal their true natures. Then they think that Bisha is the one who helped them call back to yomi, and maybe she can help them again.
