About This Chapter
In this short scene, Roxane tells her students that they shouldn't be running around in the store because it's "impolite" to do so. She tells them that she's the one who's been taking care of the students during the day, so she doesn't have time to be silly. Roxane thanks her students for being so nice to her, and tells them to be thankful for everything they've done for her. She also tells them how much she loves them, and that time seems to fly by so fast. She says that she loves James too, and she tells him that it seems like a long time ago that he was "this small and cute" . He tells her that he's leaving the school because everyone has done something wrong there, and he blames himself for it. He says he'll put the school under his name, and then he tells Roxane to take a seat. He asks her if something happened between him and Henry, but she says that they haven't been seeing each other in a while, so he can't figure out what happened. He also says that he loves tom, but that he just cannot tell her what happened, because he loves her too much to tell anyone else. He's not forcing her to love him, he says, but he wants her to leave a little room for him.
