About This Chapter
In this short scene, James complains to Henry that he is too sick to enjoy his time with him. He complains that he has not showered for three days because of his illness, and that he must stink like rotten eggs in front of Henry. He also complains about Henry's curly hair, which he does not know because he has always made it his own. Henry tells James that he will make him feel better, and then he coughs. James tells Henry that his cough will make it hard for him to breathe, and he suggests that he make him some "ipecac juice" to help him breathe better. James says that he did not want to do anything to Henry, but that he had a "bad dream" in which he threw up all his clothes. He tells Henry to take off his shirt, but Henry refuses, saying that he wants to take care of James. James asks why he did such a thing, and Henry tells him that he deserves to die.
