The narrator thanks his readers for picking up the book. First off, he tells us that it's been two years since the last time we saw Morika. She's back, and she's not dead yet. She just needs to get her doctor's order for an abortion. Morika wants to get the baby, but she doesn't want to be with ryo. She tells the narrator that she went to her mom's house and told her how much she loved her. When she got home, she realized that she didn't have anything to do with the situation. She wanted to tell momo how happy she was with Toji and her momo. But when she told momo what was going on, momo was all confused. She was like, "I don't know what's going on. I just want to tell you how much I loved your momo and how happy I was with toji." When the narrator gets home, he realizes that he's never going to get along with her. He tells her that she'll have to get an abortion if she wants to keep the baby. She says that's more dangerous than having a baby, because the baby will be born out of wedlock if there isn't a father around. She also says that if she becomes a father, the baby won't be able to be born without a father. She wants to talk to momo about it, but momo is all, "You know what, I'm not going to do anything about it. I've got to go to Toji's school and get some cake." The narrator says he'll get back to her soon.
