He's glad that Kiley has been there for him, even though he doesn't think she could have survived without Toji. He also tells us about the "spreading rumors" about the two of them. Kiley's mom is worried that Toji is trying to keep the secret from her, but the narrator tells her that if she's serious, then she should stop seeing Kiley and just be aware of the rumors. The chapter ends with the narrator telling us that "when girls get jealous" , they mean that they're planning to "pull some crap soon."
