In this chapter, we learn that Tojikamori is in his room at the university, and that his roommate is in the same room with him. We also learn that the maid, Kiley, is also in Toji's room. Kiley tells Toji that he is lucky that he has such a nice girl as his girlfriend, but Toji says that Kiley is not his girlfriend. The maid says that she is sorry, but that she does not understand why Toji does not like her. She tells him that she loves him and that she will always be his friend. She also says that if she had not found out about the meeting with Toji, she would not have been able to tell Kiley about it. She adds that she feels sorry for Toji because she is his only friend, and she is embarrassed by the maid's behavior. She asks the maid to listen to what she has to say about Toji.
