In this short scene, we meet Hiroyuki and his mother, who have just returned from a trip to the seashore. Hiroyuki tells his mother that he and his sister have been seeing each other for two months, but he is not interested in going to a "love hotel" because he wants to "remem" for the first time. He tells her that he has found a new modeling agent, but that he is still in the "middle of shooting candidates" for a new girlfriend. He asks his mother if she would like to know why he is "talking about his standards," and she replies that it is tradition that when young people graduate from school, they become "stares" . She tells him that he should "just try to sell himself" and not talk about his "standards." Hiroyuki replies that he does not want her to follow him around every day because he feels like he is being watched. He says that he wants Hiroyuki to come back so that he can "do it" with him, and he asks her if she thinks he will be jealous because he is bragging about how much he has suffered because of her. She replies that she would have killed him if he did not come back. He replies that if he had not come by, he would have completely lost Hiroyuki's inheritance back to her. He then asks her to tell him why he has been "all really this happy lately" , and her response is that she does not know what he is really like, and that he stole all the girls she went out with when they were in junior high.
