The scene opens with a flashback to the summer before Hiroshi's arrival in Japan. Hiroshi and his mother are in the middle of a conversation when a voice interrupts them. It is the voice of a woman named "Watari kun" , who has just arrived in Japan and is on her way to meet Hiroshi. The woman tells Hiroshi that she wants to see him after work the next day and that she has been blocked in calling mode by her mother. She asks Hiroshi to meet her face-to-face, and Hiroshi replies that he can express himself in a better way if he does so. He then asks her to try on his new clothes, which he thinks are too cute for her, and to eat with him. She tells him that she went to a cinema with him yesterday, and that suzu, her friend, and another girl were also there. She then asks him if he is thinking about his girlfriend, and he says that he might have fallen in love, but that he does not want to make a mistake and cause the two of them to drift apart. He tells her that he wants her to do their best, and she agrees to do so. She also asks him to eat some meat, but he refuses, saying that he doesn't eat meat too much, though he does like it. She reminds him that he has been having problems since the summer break started, and asks him why he has not spread his legs a bit more. He replies that his girlfriend's breasts are as big as a "bikini" once she is in love with him
