It's the day of the masquerade ball, and Shmoo asks Shmoo to check it out. Shmoo says she doesn't mind if Shmoo fills in for some of the guests, since Shmoo is a "childhood friend." Shmoo tells Shmoo that he's going to change clothes for the ball, so Shmoo should be careful not to look at Shmoo too much. They take a picture of the two of them together, then Shmoo thanks Shmoo for giving him his first pay envelope. He's so happy, Shmoo thinks, that he might buy Shmoo something to take with him on the next trip to the theater . Uh-oh... Shmoo finds out that Shmoo entered her apartment without permission, but Shmoo's door isn't broken. He says Shmoo shouldn't have broken the door, because Shmoo said he'd have nothing to do with Shmoo anyway, since no one would worry about him anyway. He thinks it's OK for him to worry about Shmoo as long as they're "just childhood friends" , which Shmoo agrees is a pretty nice way of saying "we're childhood friends, too" . They go back to the apartment, where Shmoo gives Shmoo a cup of tea, which she opened without permission . She says she's already asked Shmoo out, which makes Shmoo feel a little weird, since she'd always loved Shmoo, but she also feels a little guilty about being a "wishy washy coward" and not being able to make up with her "selfish washy" self .
