Is the really the last chapter on here? Wow, I sadly lost interest in the story and wanted to see what would happen. Thankful I didn’t waste any more time.

These last chapters didn’t do much but explain that everyone is misunderstood in the situation. Childhood friend is in love with the main character and only realizing now. Her family situation wasn’t as bad as it seem. I think it’s playing to safe in they intend to be dramatic, only to end up pointless in a narrative sense. It felt rushed to conclude what was going on instead.

What a coincidence that she showed up at that time, for him to express himself. I guess it’s a good way to show how genuine he is about her but I also think it’s pretty bad to put him in a relationship and limit the more interesting character.

Here’s an example of life, for those reading. They’re times when being a gentleman is fine but knowing the signals can open up paths in many ways. The way the main character hesitating cause he’s not making a choice of his own because her comments don’t match her actions. Now he’s conflicted to doing what he wants to prove something to her, which is okay but go with the flow. The way he back away from the moment is like rejecting her, you’re telling her you like her but you’re at the same time denying both each other to experience something that shows that said connection.

First chapter, we get a scene of a garden that’s been destroyed by a childhood friend (Did she do it though?). We get a glimpse of our main character life. As they put the story further to the future about six years and see that his sister is clinging on to him. This has given him a bad reputation, one he can’t fix because his sister is on purpose taking away his social life. Now his former childhood friend has returned, doesn’t acknowledge the destruction she apparently caused, and will bring with her an a change to his life. As a first chapter introduction, it has potential with the setting but what will they do to further to expand on the story.
