The demon king tells Mingji that they have to figure out a way out of this predicament. Mingji tries to calm him down by telling him that they will not die like this. He tells him that he can get the blood of the last witch and dig her up even though she is dead. The witch is different from the other weak witches, Mingji tells him, because she has the power of manipulating the insects. The next witch who wants to become the chief of the insects will kill him. He instructs Mingji to give him the antidote and then they will leave.
