The demon race sees Mingji as a traitor because he framed her and seized her power. Mingji tells her that she is wise, and that the secrets of the crown are in the hands of the demon lord. He orders the other demons to retreat, and sends goddess Luo back to the human race. The demon king welcomes Mingji back, and Mingji asks why the demons changed their attitude toward him so much after he reclaimed his power. She tells him that doubtful mom and the demon girl are still with him, and he will abandon the demon race again
