In this short scene, Mingji wakes up and tries to cover up what he has done to him. Mingji tells him that he has lost his body and that he is now in the astral plane. He tells Mingji to hug his soul first and then they will discuss their next steps. He also tells her that the ghost king did not tell him that Chingyu was dead. He says that Mingji should leave now because Chingyu is planning to hurt him. He then tells her to release her grip on him and let him go. He warns her that he will let an evil ghost into the soul beast space.
