In this chapter, Jim is congratulating himself on his marriage. He tells us that he used to be a student and an office worker, and that his only crush was Mina. He says that Mina has been giving him a hand, and he's already noticed this. He's happy to see her, and says that he knows she has a thing for running away from people. He promises to never follow her around again, and they plan to visit Mina's island.
