In this short scene, Jim tells the audience that he is outside of work and that he wants to tell Park Seontae that he also lives in Yeosu. He asks if Yeosu has already had dinner. Yeosu replies that she has, and Jim asks if she is paying attention when he is putting up his best effort at work. He then asks why Yeosu is not paying more attention to his cooking, and Yeosu responds that she lacks culinary skills. Jim then asks about Yeosu's reaction to the mention of his name in the previous scene, and asks why she blushed earlier in the day. He is irritated that Yeosu does not seem to be paying attention to him, and he asks why he brought up his name when he arrived at Yeosu earlier. He also asks why the bastard did not stand up for him when he spoke about him like he knew better. Jim says that he likes Yeosu because he is able to take in all aspects of who he is, but that he cannot force him to do what he wants. He wonders if he will ever be able to love someone, and wonders if bringing up his past is inappropriate. Jim asks Yeosu about his age and asks if he is old enough to be close to Yeosu, as Yeosu seems to be too old for him. He tells Yeosu that he has never heard Yeosu discuss her flaws with anyone before, and that she looks like she is in love. He says that sometimes the only way for a person to learn is to make mistakes, and this is the first time he has ever been in such a situation.
