In this chapter, the young narrator, Jimmy, tries to figure out why he's having such a hard time concentrating on his work. He's also worried about his relationship with his co-worker, Mr. Lee, and his feelings for his new lady-in-waiting, Kim Eun-woo. He asks the taxi driver to take him to Kim's place so he can talk to her alone.
