Back at the university hospital, Jim asks the doctor if he's sure about the results of the blood test. He asks if it's a brain tumor, a cerebral hemorrhage, or something else. The doctor says that it could be a combination of the two. Jim apologizes, and says that he'll go home and take a nap. He tells the doctor to take care of himself, too. He says that when he was with her, they were awkward, and that was why he was attracted to her. He apologizes to the doctor, and tells him to apply for sick leave. Jim asks if the doctor has a hard time sleeping because of the ex-girlfriend, and the doctor says he does. Jim says that if he stayed at the hospital as a colleague, he'd have to ask the doctor why his hair is stuck out. He wants to know if it was because of alcohol, but the doctor won't tell him. Jim wants to hug the doctor tightly, but he can't, because the doctor's body temperature is so high. He's sorry to wake the doctor up, and asks him to buy him a pair of pants and a toothbrush when he goes back to school. Jim promises that he will never date anyone close to him again.
